fermata株式会社 代表取締役CEOの**杉本亜美奈（Amina Sugimoto）**は、東京都が主催する「未来フォーラム2026」**にて、講演プログラムに参加いたしました。
杉本が登壇したのは、「インクルーシブな未来へ：アンコンシャスバイアスを超えて」と題されたセッション（15:50〜16:40）です。
本セッションでは、無意識の思い込み（アンコンシャスバイアス）が、個人の選択や組織、社会の意思決定にどのような影響を与えているのかを起点に、よりインクルーシブな社会を実現するために必要な視点や行動について議論が行われました。
杉本は、アジアで生まれ、アフリカで育ち、欧州で教育を受けた自身の生い立ちを踏まえ、「女性・男性」という性別に限られた視点にとどまらず、文化・価値観・立場の違いがどのように無意識の偏りを生むのかについて言及。ウィメンズヘルス・フェムテック領域での社会実装の経験を交えながら、気づきを個人の内省に留めず、組織や制度、行動の変化につなげていくことの重要性をお話ししました。

Dr. Amina Sugimoto Speaks at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s “Future Forum 2026”
Dr. Amina Sugimoto, Founder & CEO of fermata Inc., participated as a speaker at Future Forum 2026, an initiative hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to explore the future of work, society, and inclusion.
She spoke in the session titled
“Toward an Inclusive Future: Moving Beyond Unconscious Bias” (15:50–16:40).
The session examined how unconscious bias shapes individual behavior, organizational culture, and societal decision-making, and explored what it takes to build genuinely inclusive systems rather than symbolic diversity initiatives.
Drawing on her lived experience of being born in Asia, raised in Africa, and educated in Europe, Amina shared a perspective that extends beyond gender-based bias, addressing how cultural background, social norms, and structural context influence the assumptions we carry—often without realizing it.
Building on her work at the intersection of women’s health, FemTech, and social implementation, she emphasized the importance of moving from awareness to action—translating insight into organizational change, policy alignment, and real-world execution.
